Shri D V Srinivas Rao

Mr. D V Srinivas Rao has assumed charge as Director (Technical) of Bharat Dynamics Limited, a public sector enterprise under Ministry of Defence on 20-09-2024. 

Mr. D V Srinivas Rao has been heading the in-house R&D division of BDL as General Manager (Design & Engineering) for the last three years. Prior to that he has working in BDL for the last 30 years and held various positions and spearheaded many defence projects for BDL. He has been closely associated with various labs of DRDO and successfully executed various projects. 

He has been instrumental in establishing state of art Electronics Division in BDL which produces many critical sub-systems of various weapon systems. He has completed his bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Instrumentation followed by Masters in Digital Systems and Computer Engineering. Subsequently, he has pursued his Master’s in Business Administration in Human Resources.

He is Additional Director on the Board of Electronic Warfare (Defence) Testing Foundation.
