Shri G. Gayatri Prasad

Shri. G. Gayatri Prasad assumed charge as Director (Finance) of M/s Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) with effect from 18 Dec 2024 (A/N).  Prior to the assumption of charge, he was working as General Manager (Finance) & CFO in BDL.

Shri. G. Gayatri Prasad is a Commerce Graduate from Nagarjuna University and an Associate Member of Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He joined BDL in 1997 as Management Trainee and in a career spanning over 27 years , served the company in various capacities with wide exposure in all aspects of Accounting and Financial Management, Taxation, Analyzing investment proposals for their viability, Working Capital Management, Budgeting and Costing. 

As head of Treasury function, he has ensured optimal investment of surplus funds while meeting capex requirements from internal accruals. He has been part of Management team at various investor meets. He has supported various initiatives like higher dividend payout, splitting of shares for enhancement of shareholder’s wealth.
